recently i read a Chinese quote that says "talk does n ot cook rice".Sometimes we keep talking good talk and drawing up workplans that are wonderful.But the point to note is this, we have to make sure we are making impact.We don't have to take after our leaders who make policies that are dumped in drawers.CLCWA is a great project.The question is how do we ensure that its impact is really felt.

Wow thats a perfectly formulated pertinent concern! And i can say i feel the same as you, and ask myself the same questions constantly, but I believe this 'concern' we al seem to share is healthy -- for the project at least. I think that as long as we keep this in mind, as long as we adapt and take under high consideration local relaities and needs, as long as we give 100% of our energy into making a tangible difference, at any level of implication...well, i think we have all of our chances in respectably participating in the empowerment of the African youth.
